Enchanting colors (of social entrepreneurship)
The magic of craft made by hands… Some time ago I tweeted a couple of photos that radiated positive energy and burst with colors. Now you can find a full collection here!
The background (based on the text on organizers´web page): an organisation called Tallinn Support Centre Juks celebrated its 20th anniversary this autumn. Its mission is to support the personal development of disabled people through art.
An exhibition called “Timeless Fruits” (“Ajatud viljad” on Estonian) provided an overview of center´s achievements in developing the talents of their target group members. The exposition showed artworks made of glass, ceramics, porcelain and silk. The handicraft demonstrates the true nature of their creators – colorful, versatile; representing also a perfect example of hard work and dedication.
